KIDS VOTING Central Florida is a non-profit, nonpartisan, grassroots organization partnering with schools and communities in Orange county to educate youth about the importance of voting and good citizenship.

The purpose is to prepare all school-aged youth with the information and experience to participate as citizens and to sustain American democracy through deliberate instruction in voter education. The mission of KIDS VOTING Central Florida is to educate youth to become responsible voters and to promote adult voter participation
An affiliate of Kids Voting USA, KIDS VOTING Central Florida was initiated in 2002. In 2002, its pilot year, more than 8,000 students voted on paper ballots for the gubernatorial election.

Kids Voting USA announces new headquarters and management
Thursday, May 21, 2009

TOPEKA, KS – The Kansas Press Association (KPA) is pleased to announce its new
business partnership with Kids Voting USA. KPA assumed management of Kids Voting USA’s day-to-day
business operations May 1. Simultaneously, Rachel Willis was named as its new executive director.
Both are moves important to the organization’s future strategy and intended to optimize the current
affiliate network.
